This page explains how Invemory handles account data, inventory data, and support messages.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
We keep this policy focused on the data needed to run Invemory and on the choices you have as a user.
1. General overview
Invemory collects and processes only the information needed to provide the app, keep your account working, and improve the service.
By using Invemory, you agree that we may handle your data as described in this policy and in the Terms of Service.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Invemory, we may process account details, inventory records, uploaded images, and support messages.
We do not need to know every detail you store, but we do need enough data to keep your inventory organized.
- Account and sign-in data.
- Inventory content and attachments that you add.
- Technical logs needed to keep the app secure and stable.
3. How we use information
We use data to provide core features, sync your inventory, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.
We may also use data to protect the service from abuse and to respond to your requests.
4. Analytics and diagnostics
The Android app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure screens and a limited set of feature interactions. Where required, analytics starts only after your privacy choice; you can opt out at any time in Settings.
The website and installed PWA use the existing Google Analytics 4 web stream to understand general visits. In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and when the region is unknown, the Google tag does not load until you explicitly allow analytics. Elsewhere it is enabled by default unless you opt out.
The browser stores only your explicit allowed or denied choice, the consent-policy version, and an optional decision time. Analytics cookies include _ga and stream-specific _ga_* cookies. Withdrawing through Analytics settings stops future collection and removes these cookies from Invemory-controlled scopes.
Analytics may include pseudonymous device or app identifiers, app and browser information, general region, routes without private values, and limited event names. We do not send account details, inventory content, item names or descriptions, search text, QR values, advertising identifiers, precise location, or user-provided content. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and advertising personalization remain disabled.
5. Payments
If you purchase a paid subscription, payment processing is handled by third-party payment services.
Invemory does not receive or store card details.
- Third-party payment providers process the transaction.
- Card data is handled outside Invemory.
6. Data storage
Your data is stored on secure servers using modern information protection measures.
Data transfer between the app and server uses HTTPS.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help prevent unauthorized access.
7. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share your personal data except when necessary for payments, infrastructure, legal compliance, or protecting our rights.
Any third-party sharing is limited to the purpose that requires it.
8. User data
All data you create in Invemory remains your property.
We do not review or use that content except when needed for support or required by law.
9. Your rights
You have the right to review, edit, and delete your data where the app provides those tools.
You can also contact us with questions about privacy or data processing.
- Review your data.
- Update your data.
- Delete individual records.
- Delete your account.
- Contact us with privacy questions.
10. Retention period
Your data is kept while your account exists or while it is needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements.
After account deletion, data may be removed within a reasonable period unless the law requires further retention.
11. Children's privacy
Invemory is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy.
If we make significant changes, we will update the last-modified date at the top of the document.
13. Contact information
